Can you say "heeeey... thanks LinkedIn" for helping a client pick YOU? Here's what other MSPs are using LinkedIn for (77% visit to do research on potential clients)
Last week I asked thousands of MSPs across my audiences this question: What do you want from LinkedIn?
Thanks if you were one of the many people who filled in the anonymous survey. The results have been eye opening - here are the most interesting ones.
Starting with this stat...

Wow! Half of MSPs who responded believe LinkedIn had helped them win a new client.
And look at how often MSPs are visiting LinkedIn...

These are the top 5 reasons to visit...

Some quckfire stats
Stat 1) The average MSP has about 1,075 connections
Stat 2) The highest number of connections recorded was 5,500. The lowest was 50
Stat 3) 38% of MSPs who responded believe other technology people make up a quarter of their connections (not ideal - you almost need 2x LinkedIn accounts, one for your professional network, and one for prospecting with ordinary business owners and managers)
Stat 4) When asked "overall, how important is LinkedIn to your MSP's lead gen", the overall average score was 3.8 out of 5
And then the big open question - "if you could wave a magic wand and discover anything about how to use LinkedIn for lead generation, what would it be?"
Here are some select answers...

Interesting stuff, right? And there's a ton of detail I haven't shown you, especially from that magic wand question.
